About Rouge Impérial
Rouge Impérial, tint 10, closes the family on its most direct red: a vivid, dense colour with almost no drift toward brown or mauve, legible from across a room as much as up close. The hue varies little from tile to tile, with just a few darker pieces punctuating the surface without ever blurring it. The slightly glossy surface reflects light cleanly, giving this tint a strong graphic presence. Next to Grenat Profond, muted and velvety, Rouge Impérial is the red of plain statement, with no visible patina holding it back. It suits a deliberate, contained touch: a niche, a band of tiling, a small shower room where colour is meant to structure the space rather than cover a large flat surface.
