About Bleu Nuit
Bleu Nuit, shade 30, is a very dark, dense blue, close to black overall, though its surface reveals occasional flashes of deeper, more distinct blue than its darker neighbour. The dominant tone stays sober and matte, with a few brighter tiles breaking the uniformity and adding depth to the laid surface. Hand cut in Fez, each tile keeps the edge and surface irregularities that come with handmade shaping. This deep blue behaves like a black carrying colour within it: it structures a full wall with authority while remaining unmistakably zellige, never flat. Next to the more violet Indigo Royal and the even more restrained Encre Profonde, Bleu Nuit sits in between, dark yet clearly blue in the light. Sold by the panel, available in several formats and possible made to measure, it works well in a kitchen, a bathroom, or a sheltered outdoor space.
