On each handmade zellige tile shaped in Fez, the colour reads as a soft, almost hazy blue grey, and daylight brings out subtle shifts across the surface: some tiles lean toward a faintly blue white, others carry a slightly deeper blue grey depending on the angle and the hour. The handmade grain catches light in small, matte glints that soften the tone even further.
