Shade 22, Amande Verte, is a light, tender green, more even and more luminous than Pierre Mousse before it in the family. Its surface stays lively thanks to subtle tonal shifts, some tiles leaning toward a paler cast, others returning to a fuller green, yet the whole reads as a soft, consistent shade that never turns dark. It is a fresh green that catches daylight well, lending a sense of lightness and freshness to a wall or a splashback. It stands apart from its neighbours through its clarity: less mineral than shade 21, less warm and less yellow than Olive Sauvage that follows it. Amande Verte works particularly well in kitchens and bathrooms where a lively yet restful colour is wanted, as well as in interiors that are open to plenty of daylight. Handmade Moroccan zellige from Fez, cut piece by piece, each tile carries its own nuance, giving an Amande Verte wall a lively finish that is never flat or uniform.
