About Craie Antique
Craie Antique belongs to the Neutres & Minéraux family: a soft, almost chalky white with none of the coldness of a clinical white. Across the surface of this zellige, hand cut in Fez, the color breathes: some tiles stay matte and powdery, others catch a slightly brighter sheen, like an old stone smoothed by time. Fine irregularities, small marks and gentle relief, punctuate the surface without ever disturbing it, a reminder that each piece was shaped one by one. This warm, living white suits a bathroom as well as a kitchen or a hallway, bringing in light without any cold effect. Next to Blanc Pur, which is crisper and more even, Craie Antique stands out for its more pronounced texture and its slightly warmer, almost weathered tone, closer to old limewash than to a contemporary white.
